Back in 2004, AdvanceQuip was just
a fledgling distributor of used trucks
and machinery. We may have started
small, but we dreamed big.
Machinery sales were our primary focus for many years and,
with our experience and knowledge base, it was a natural fit for
us to take on New Zealand distribution of CASE construction
equipment in 2013.
In this time we also began to hire equipment. After a decade
working with contractors we had the unique insight into the
challenges they faced – and how quality rental machinery could
meet these challenges.
So, as sales grew, so too did the rental side of the business.
We expanded our range, and our reputation for supporting the
construction, farming, contracting, and landscaping industries
grew with it.

In 2023 we made the complete move into rental equipment.
While the business changed, our mindset didn’t. Starting out
we knew that it wasn’t just a matter of investing in the right
machinery we needed to back it with the very best service.
Thanks to our partnership with Earthworm Attachments, we
now also provide increased project capacity and capability for
many businesses. Hiring the best in hydraulic attachment
technology ensures they can make light work of project
demands.
Today, we’re proud to remain a family-owned company with an
unwavering commitment to going the extra mile for our
customers. We have developed our range and our client base,
ensuring a wide variety of local companies can quickly access
machinery and advance their projects.

When we first started our vision was to become the number one source for heavy equipment hire in Otago and Southland. Now, over two decades later, with consistent growth and happy clients, we continue to strive towards this goal.
